Hey, estimados estudiantes, aquí tenemos una lección «mini» sobre el verbo más importante del inglés, seguidos de ejercicios para reforzar.
👑 El Verbo To Be: «Ser» o «Estar»
El verbo To Be es especial porque en español significa dos cosas a la vez: Ser (identidad/característica) y Estar (ubicación/emoción).
Además, es un «verbo camaleón»: cambia de forma dependiendo de quién realiza la acción.
Las 3 Formas del Presente
En lugar de decir «I be», el verbo se transforma en am, is o are:

La Fórmula Mágica
Para usarlo correctamente, solo necesitas recordar este orden:
- ✅ Afirmativo: Sujeto + Verbo + Resto
- They are friends.
- They are friends.
- ❌ Negativo: Sujeto + Verbo + NOT + Resto
- They are not friends.
- They are not friends.
- ❓ Pregunta:Verbo + Sujeto + Resto?
- Are they friends?
Tip Rápido (Contracciones): En el inglés hablado, casi siempre unimos las palabras:
I am = I’m
She is = She’s
You are = You’re
